Your data, in plain language

Last updated: 28 August 2026

What is collected

When you request the Darkfire patch, your email address is used to deliver that requested email. The site may also record the referral source, utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, patch version and request date associated with the request.

Current and future patch delivery

Requesting the current patch also signs you up to receive future Darkfire patch releases automatically. Every ongoing email will include an unsubscribe option.

Email providers

The current patch email is sent through the website host’s configured mail service. Your email address and related attribution fields are also added to EmailOctopus, which is used to manage future patch-release emails.

Cookies, referrals and analytics

A necessary session cookie preserves referral and UTM information as you move between pages and supports form security. The site includes privacy-neutral event hooks, but no analytics account or tracking ID is installed. If analytics is added later, this notice must be updated before launch.

Your choices

Future patch emails will include an unsubscribe option. To ask about, correct or remove your information, contact karl@pokedarkfire.com.
